OpenAI Says Its AI Cracked Part of a 90-Year-Old Math Problem

OpenAI says thousands of AI agents made major progress on a famous unsolved math problem in just 88 hours. But a rival researcher claims the real story is more complicated.

OpenAI announced last week that its artificial intelligence made a breakthrough on a famous math problem.
